BCOMM designed, planned, and produced an event for the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department to bring Bayview-Hunterspoint & surrounding communites
together to celebrate the unveiling of the new mural painted by Bayview artist Ira Watkins, and an accompanying 80-foot banner, designed by InkëDesign at 900 Innes Ave.
Over 200 people showed up from the community to enjoy the mural and engage in workshops about India Basin Park.
A Park For The Community, By The Community
Local Bayview vendors provided free food and the Warriors sponsored the event with t-shirts as we aired a playoff game. District 10 Supervisor Shamann Walton attended the event and spoke, as well as members from the Arts community in San Francisco.
BCOMM designed a custom Snapchat filter for attendees to take photos with and share to their social media networks to increase awareness and digital engagement during the event.
