BCOMM worked with Mason Tillman Associates, Ltd., an Oakland-based consulting business
that provides high-impact diversity and inclusion services, to design and develop the website for their client, Alameda County. The website focused on a study Mason Tillman conducted to determine if disparity exists between the availability of qualified Minority and Woman-owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) and their actual utilization as contractors and subcontractors on County contracts for construction and professional services.
ABOUT MASON TILLMAN
Mason Tillman has performed 30% of all disparity studies (Croson Studies) commissioned in the United States since 1990, and focuses on analyzing the contracting practices of public and private entities to determine if minority-owned, woman-owned, small, local, and veteran businesses have equal access to public contracting opportunities.

THE WEBSITE
In designing the website, we focused on highlighting the upcoming community meeting, and including key facts about the disparity study, so business owners could familiarize themselves with the information prior to the meeting.
We also brought in imagery of various locations throughout Alameda County to root the website in visuals that would be familiar to the business owners, and chose to use Mason Tillman brand colors throughout.
